What is Play On!?

Play On! is a resource for players, coaches, administrators and referees in the Washington State youth soccer programs. The newspaper, which enjoys a national reputation as one of the best, is published six times a year and distributed free of charge to these targeted groups. Issues are sent to our membership February, April, June, August, October and December.

The Play On! mission is to inform, educate and motivate those who are working to make the youth soccer experience a quality one.

The calendar and previews of upcoming activities keep the readers informed of event they may wish to join.

How-to articles, such as those from our Director of Coaching, provide instruction, insight and tips for doing the plethora of tasks necessary with a program of our size. Recognition of success and victories -- both personal and team -- says, "Look what we've done! You can do it too!"

Want To Submit Something To Play On!?

How well we complete our mission depends in a great part how you help by sending us your news -- and that's a simple thing to do. Here are a few guidelines --

Deadline for input is the 5th of the month preceding publication.

You may send input to the WSYSA office or email them to playon@wsysa.com.  

Send action photos if possible; formal team photos will be used as room allows.

Not Receiving Play On!?

If you are not a registered WSYSA member, the paper costs $9 per year. Please send a check payable to WSYSA to the state office, attention Play On. Please be sure your mailing address is included with your request.
