Roster Freeze Date: 5 days prior to the first tournament game of the gender age group.

When: Girls & Boys U11-U14: Start Date 3/28/09; finals 5/9/09
Girls U15-U18: Start Date 4/4/09; finals 5/3/09
Boys U15-U18: Start Date 1/18/09; finals 3/1/09
Girls & Boys U19: Start Date 5/29/09; finals 6/1/09

Fee: $360.00 if paid via credit card online. $350.00 if paid by check to Association
Who: Of the four Washington Youth Soccer state tournaments, this tournament is also for the developmental level of competition. The entrants are primarily CYL, U11 PDL"A" and "B" teams, U12-U15 PDL "B" teams, Washington Youth Soccer Youth Developmental League and Premier League Division III teams and WSPL U13.
Please note that all preliminary games are held throughout Washington State, in both Eastern and Western Washington, so winter travel during this tournament is expected. Teams winning the Challenge Cup do not advance to Regional competition.
How to submit our team application to participate:
To complete a 2008-2009 application to participate in the Washington Youth Soccer Challenge Cup follow this simple process
Click the small Challenge Cup Logo at the bottom of this page to login to the application program.
Complete the application by following the posted instructions.
The team representative will sign their name at the bottom of the application to electronically sign (approve and submit) the application.
Click the Accept button then click Next.
Entry fees may be paid online with a credit card. The entry fee is $360.00 Washington Youth Soccer offers a $10.00 cash discount for cash payments, making the entry fee $350.00. To pay online with a credit card- under Step 5 "Finish Registering" click on Make a payment. Once the Edit teams and Make payment screen comes up click on "pay" and the payment screen will open. Enter your credit card information and click submit. For cash payments please submit a check payable to your Member Association in the amount of $350.00.
Print a copy of the application for your records. The online application will automatically be submitted electronically to your Association and Washington Youth Soccer.
The Association Registrar will verify the team roster and submit your team’s application to Washington Youth Soccer for participation in the Washington Youth Soccer Challenge Cup electronically.
