Washington Youth Soccer Announces Special Council Meeting To Present 
New Infrastructure and Its Future Impact On Organization

FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Thursday, September 25) – After months of extensive evaluation, the Washington Youth Soccer Board of Directors, with the assistance of Jan Glick & Associates, has successfully developed the organizational framework for the Constitutional Convention. In order to share the Board of Directors’ new strategy, initiatives and benefits to its members, Washington Youth Soccer will host a Special Council meeting for association presidents and MAR representatives on Saturday, November 8th at the SeaTac Courtyard by Marriott from 1 pm – 5 pm.

Washington Youth Soccer Announces State Cup Dates
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Thursday, September 25) – With tournament season set to kick off in 2009, Washington Youth Soccer recently announced dates for three of its highly anticipated State Cup tournaments; the Fred Meyer Commissioners’ Cup, the Challenge Cup and the elite US Youth Soccer Washington State Championships (Championship Cup).

Washington Youth Soccer Announces the 08-09 Olympic Development Coaching Staff
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Tuesday, September 16) – In partnership with the Seattle Sounders FC, Washington Youth Soccer has infused new energy into one of its most elite programs by announcing the 2008-2009 Coaching Staff for the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

Sounders FC Signs Gambia Youth International

Washington Youth Soccer Players Selected for 2008 Regional and National Teams

FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Thursday, September 4) – Proving that once again Washington Youth Soccer has some of the nation’s most elite talent, a total of 25 local Olympic Development Players (ODP) were recently named to the US Youth Soccer Region IV player pools and National player pools.

2008-2009 State Cups Now Accepting Applications
Washington Youth Soccer administers four state tournaments to provide teams at all levels of play the opportunity to continue to compete in post-league play. The levels of play offered are: Recreational, Developmental and Competitive. Teams may enter only ONE of the four Washington Youth Soccer  State Tournaments each year. 2008-2009 online applications for all four Washington Youth Soccer State Tournaments are now open.

 

Washington Youth Soccer Announces Its 2008-2009 Volunteer Committee Chairs
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Tuesday, August 26) – Since inception, Washington Youth Soccer has relied on the work and dedication of volunteer State Committees Chairs in order to fulfill its mission of fostering the growth and development of youths through the sport of soccer. These positions are critical to the success of Washington Youth Soccer and therefore play a prominent role in the execution of state procedure and policy.
