2008-2009 ODP

We at Washington Youth Soccer are very sensitive to the economic times we are all facing and understand the cost of participating in ODP may be challenging for some families. With the finalization of the teams moved to mid January we would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of the projected cost to participate in our program this season.

We have many financial options available to reduce the burden during the difficult time for many. For additional information on our financial programs please check the wsysa.com website or contact mary@wsysa.com.

Program Fees

The total cost of the program for the 2009 ODP year is projected to be approximately $1610.00. Players are required to pay in advance for all events they have been chosen to participate in.

Washington Youth Soccer recognizes that the fee associated with the ODP program may be difficult for some parents and to this end we have established the following financial aid programs.

1. Sponsorship: Players are encouraged to seek individual and/or corporate sponsorships to defray the costs of their participation in the Olympic Development Program. Contributions are tax deductible. Link to sponsorship below

2. Payment Plan: This allows the parents to spread the cost of ODP throughout the year with all balances due by August 1, 2009. Link to payment plan

3. Community Service Vouchers: This program allows the player to perform community service for monetary credit to their ODP balances. Link to community service vouchers

4. Referee training: Washington Youth Soccer in conjunction with the Washington State Referee Committee will waive the entry level cost of any ODP player who passes a referee certification class up to grade 7. Link to referee training

5. Financial assistance will be offered on a limited basis where there is a demonstrated need for assistance. Link to Financial assistance

Community service events must be Washington Youth Soccer ODP service events. To receive credit for you service submit a completed ODP Community Service Form to mary@wsysa.com. Or mail to:

Referee training: Washington Youth Soccer ODP program will reimburse you the cost of the instructional fee if pass the class and do a minimum of five matches up to grade 7. Additional information may be found at wasrc.org.
