Washington Youth Soccer would like to congratulate Kate Bennett on being chosen to represent the United States at the 2008 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup, being held Oct. 28-Nov. 16 in New Zealand. The historic tournament, which will mark the first-ever world championship for women at the U-17 level, will feature 16 nations divided into four groups of four teams each. FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Thursday, October 9) – Following the success of its inaugural year, Washington Youth Soccer has opened up the application process for its Annual Scholarship Program. Through the state-wide Scholarship Program, Washington Youth Soccer will award a total of $19,000 to members continuing on to the collegiate level after completing their 2008-2009 high school years.
