Three year contract
“This is as big as if a player from Lincolnshire had been asked to play for the Boston Red Sox.” *
Following a stellar performance with the U.S. men's national U-17 team at the FIFA World Championships in Peru, Pasco native and Crossfire Premier Soccer Club player Preston Zimmerman has signed a three year deal with Hamburg SV, of the German Bundesliga. In February, Preston will join U.S. MNT U-20 player, Benny Feilhaber, working out and participating in friendlies with Hamburg 's second team until he turns 18 in November. The sky's the limit from there.
“Preston deserves this opportunity, he has worked hard and he has the desire and talent to succeed at this level,” said Crossfire Premier Soccer Club coach Bernie James.
“I've been in soccer all my life and with Lake Washington Youth Soccer for 14 years, and we've waited for this day for a long time,” agreed Alan Hinton.
