Misconduct Report Process Change Minimize

As of September 1st, 2007, all misconduct reports must be filed via the internet. No paper misconduct reports will be accepted. If you are a referee and have a misconduct report to file, follow this link to the WSRC website: http://www.wasrc.org/index. You must login to their site and click on the referee link in the menu. Follow the online steps to complete the process. Thank you for your cooperation, and if you need assistance or have further questions about this change, please feel free to contact Mary Warren via email at mary@wsysa.com.

Attitudes Are Contagious (Video)
Massachusetts Youth Soccer has developed and produced an outstanding video focusing on the issues of sideline behavior of adults, and specifically on how that behavior is affecting the retention of qualified referees. While many have talked about the issue of adult sideline behavior, Mass Youth is the only organization to turn the talk into a valuable tool that teams, towns, clubs and leagues can put into immediate use to help curb the unwanted noise along the sidelines.

What is the difference between refereeing the men's game and the women's game?

As a woman FIFA Referee with many years of experience refereeing men's amateur, professional and women's international soccer matches, I am often asked, "What is the difference between refereeing the men's game and the women's game? Is there a difference?" To that question I answer a resounding "Yes." In my opinion, to successfully referee women's matches a referee must understand some fundamental differences between male and female soccer players.
