Frank, a hall of fame recipient, was a larger than life figure in youth soccer for more than forty years, having been one of the early organizers of youth soccer in the state. He had an extraordinary commitment to youth soccer, both as an administrator and as a coach. He earned the respect and appreciation of thousands of families through several generations in Washington for his steadfast commitment to the game and, in particular, the players who made it possible. Frank has battled cancer for the past few years and was still helping to coach two young teams until earlier this month.
