Player Registration General Information
General Registration Information

All Clubs, Associations and Districts must ensure that every youth soccer team, player, and coach that participates in any program that is coached, sponsored, or administered by their organization is registered with WSYSA.  All members must register for participation in programs and competitions under the jurisdiction of the WSYSA and its Member Association each seasonal year.  Any team playing a player who is overage or is not properly registered or who is improperly entered on a roster shall forfeit the game(s) in which the player takes part.  In addition the coach may be suspended for the remainder of the seasonal year and the subsequent season for playing an ineligible player.

A player is registered once they have paid their appropriate Club/ Association fees.   In additional each player each player must provide proof of age.  For additional information on proof of age Proof of age shall consist of birth certificate, a Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege .....or specific on proof a age may be found ....link.....and or state the bylaw.

Player Fees:  Registration fees vary from club to club. For 2007-2008 (September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008), WSYSA will charge $11.07/player. The WSYSA portion of the required player registration fee covers the cost of national membership, state operating expenses and a secondary insurance policy.  This is the reason all players must be registered before being allowed to participate in any WSYSA activities.

Registration Fee Deadlines: All registration fees are payable in full at the time that team registration is received at WSYSA.  All SAM clubs, WSPL teams and teams requiring player and coach cards data must be completed by August 1.  fees will be invoiced September 1.  All NON SAM Clubs   District registration and fees are due on September 1; all other Fall registration data and fees are due by September 30.  Unpaid fees become delinquent after October 15.  Any delinquent Member Association will lose its right to vote or participate in the business of WSYSA, and will be assessed a fee of 1% per month of the outstanding balance until all registration data and full payment are received.  Team  Information; Currently our seasons span from September 1st of each year to August 31st.  Players within WSYSA may only play on 1 team at a time per seasonal year.

Any player on a WSYSA team must play at the appropriate age level.
