In order to provide an environment under which the development of youth soccer players is maximized, the Washington State Premier League (Premier League or WSPL) was formed for both boys and girls in age groups U13 through U19. The WSPL is administered by WSYSA.
The Premier League may have up to three divisions of 8 teams each, for boys and girls age groups U14-U19. Division I is the highest skill level, Division II is the intermediate skill level with Division III being the entry level for U14 and above. The U-13 age group is considered Division I and is a single division that is divided into four sections, Red, White, Blue and Green. The Premier League season runs from early September to mid-December. Teams from across Washington State comprise the WSPL so winter travel is required.
Teams wishing to participate in the WSPL must complete an online application between late March, when the online application is posted to the WSYSA web, and the May 1st application deadline. Watch the WSYSA home page under Headlines for the posting of the online application.
Any team considering applying for the WSPL should contact their Association Registrar for more information on application procedures and entry deadlines specific to their Association.
