What are the fees for a Credit Card Processing Account?

• Setup Fee - $99 (one time)
• Monthly Fee - $29 per month covering the Verisign Payment Gateway AND the Credit Card Account.  (Note: you can place this account “on hold” during periods of no-activity)
• Discount: 2.24% to 2.10% and .30 per transaction

What’s the total average cost for a member of a club with a 1000 members charging $80 for registration?

The total cost is about $4.40 assuming that 75% of on line registration pays by credit card.  This covers the cost of the entire software system and services as outlined below. 

How do we cover that cost?

Our clients simply raise their fees to their members.  They find that their members never notice the increase, even clubs with members in rural areas where fees maybe lower.  Additionally, members really enjoy the improved communication and features of the system because it’s more convenient and easy to use.

How does the system help my club?

First of all, we’ve actually had clubs make money off their system.  They’ve saved  money because they no longer have to print and mail information to members that some of them have actually come out ahead. 

The system also offers opportunities for the club to fund-raise as it comes with its own easy-to-use on line store at no additional cost.

There is, of course, the savings in volunteer and staff hours.  Using this system substantially reduces the number of hours required from volunteers and staff to manage the organization while improving efficiency and organization.  The club improves its ability to attract and retain volunteers and allows all authorized users to “see” and work with the same information ANY time by connecting over the Internet.  All data in the system is saved in “real time”, so it’s always up-to-the minute current.
