Washington Youth Soccer Takes Soccer Summit To The South

FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Thursday, April 3) – In an effort to strengthen open communication with its more than 125,000 members, Washington Youth Soccer will take its highly successful Soccer Summit forum to Kelso, WA on Saturday, May 3rd from 10 am – 4 pm. This Summit will continue a successful run of Soccer Summits held around the state since 2007, including one last weekend in Bellingham. Open free of charge to all members, the upcoming Summit will focus on Washington Youth Soccer’s largest level of play, the recreational game.

“By taking our key leadership directly to members we have discovered new and existing issues that affect every area of our state and in turn been able to make critical rule and policy changes in order to meet the best needs of our membership,” stated Washington Youth Soccer’s Executive Director/COO, Todd McGann. “These Summits are only successful when our members get involved in the process and share their voice with us.”
